Inspired by the global tradition of attaching locks to signify commitments, memories, or milestones, we're crafting a dynamic experience right in Los Angeles.

Here's how it works:

First, get a lock. It can be any sort of lock with a shackle. This could be an old padlock you have rattling around in the kitchen drawer, an extra lock for your school locker, or go to the store and buy a new one. Just choose a lock that best represents you. Locks bigger than 4” x 4” may present problems ataching to the lock wall and will not be returned.

Submit a short narrative or memory linked to it. This story is what makes your lock more than just metal. We'll affix a QR code to the back of your lock. When scanned, this code will lead visitors directly to your shared story, bridging the gap between the physical lock and the digital memory.
